# Enable Currency for Reports

Currency symbols add perspective to Shopify financial data. Which is why Report Pundit gives you the option to add them to your reports.  Enabling this option applies the symbol of your choice to relevant numerical fields, like *Total Sales, Gross Sales*, etc. in all your reports.

## :point\_right:Steps to Enable Currency for Reports

1. Go to Report Pundit’s **Settings** page by clicking on it in the top navigation bar.&#x20;
2. In the left navigation panel, click on **Report Formatting**.
3. Locate the toggle switch labeled **Enable Currency for Reports** to the right to enable the option. If you want to disable it, simply toggle it to the left.&#x20;

**Note:** You can change the symbol in individual reports by clicking on **Format** and selecting it from the **Currency** drop-down menu.  If available, the local currency is shown at top of this list.
